Training

For Hart Voting System users, training from a Hart consultant is an especially critical element in achieving smooth, successful elections.  We teach skills that allow you to avoid pitfalls and achieve greater independence for your election management team.

We offer training in:

Hart training is not a canned, fixed package; we tailor our training to bridge the gap between your current procedures and the knowledge and skills that your people specifically need.

Interactive, Hands-On Learning

Our proven curriculum is designed to teach, not tell, so your people really learn the system and the tasks they need for peak performance in the field. Trainers use hands-on exercises, multi-media presentations, discussions, and role-playing to enhance user knowledge. They also provide feedback and assessments.

Courses are offered to managers and employees of the elections office and the Information Technology department. Separate courses are designed for software operators.

On-Going Training

Follow-up training to is available on-site, in Users Group meetings, computer-based instruction, or via Web conferencing. Or, Hart will train your people or a local third party in a Train-the-Trainer course.

Hart Training Specialists are veterans of all aspects of elections. Data Import and Integration Support

Hart data specialists assess the quality and completeness of existing data and develop a comprehensive strategy for data conversion. The analysis assesses data quality, including identifying problematic data (out of range, missing data, data that fails validation tests, etc.), table definitions, file layouts, data mapping, and other information designed to smooth the conversion process.
